- Enrollment with Scripps and The Japan Times (Early Bird rate)
by Oct 16th 2017 ($151) - Enrollment with Scripps and The Japan Times (Standard rate)
by Dec 15th 2017 ($226) - Inform the JT about the date of your school bee
by Dec 15th - Conduct your school bee
between Dec 16th & Feb 3rd
- The speller must not have passed beyond the eighth grade on or before February 1, 2018.
- The speller must not have reached his/her 15th birthday on or before August 31, 2017.
- The minimum age is grade three
- Enrollment with Scripps and The Japan Times (Early Bird rate)
